Easy money is money someone gives you and you don't have to do anything to earn it. If your favourite aunts dies and leaves you a fortune that is certainly easy money.
Another source of easy money would be having made a wise investment, early on in your life, and then reaping the benefits. For example investing in the right company at the right time could set you up for life. Particularly if it was your own company and you created it in such a way that it would make money for you whether you were working every day or not.
I suppose the easiest money is the money you win when you gamble. But then isn't everything a gamble? having an online businesses is certainly a gamble. It might work, it might not. Although as with any gamble there are things you can do to turn the odds in your favour, and one of the ways you can do that is to test every page put up to see if it is doing what you want it to do.

I suppose by easy money we mean money that comes without having to work too hard for it. The next question then... is the Internet a place to make easy money?

The answer is, of course... Yes and no!

It is possible and not too difficult to set up a system on the Internet whereby you earn money without having to do any work. You had to set up the system and get the system right. But once the system is set up, there is nothing you have to do to keep the money rolling in. That's pretty easy money!. The trouble is you have to set up the system in the first place, and you have to get it right or it won't work.
The Internet can be a great source of easy money, but it is a mistake to believe that getting the system that creates easy money up and running is easy. Setting up your Internet moneymaking system will involve you in some hard work, some persistence, some effort and some investment, but the results can be spectacular. And once your successful moneymaking system is up and running, you can be earning very easy money indeed. I have a work from home dream.

I wake up in the morning and start writing in the notebook I keep by my bed. I write everything that came to me in my night-time vision. I wipe my brow and look over my work.The title is in strong bold letters, and underlined: GET RICH QUICK My heart quickens because here is the secret. The real secret to my life of ease and luxury. The moment I've been waiting for. The golden key to a wonderful new future. I look further down the page, eager to learn just how the magic will work. There's the title "Get Rich Quick" Here's the first paragraph: "Get Rich Quick". And on the second line the same phrase. And on the third line, and all the way down the page.

Then it dawns on me... I've woken up and written Get Rich Quick over and over again, hundreds of times. my magic secret formula to everlasting wealth and happiness is nonsense!

How many of us have this dream?

How many of us entrepreneurs and online business people think, in the back of our minds, that one day we will wake up with that magic formula. One bright morning, after a divine visitation in the night, the mist will fall away and we will suddenly have the knowledge we need to work from home make those millions, help mankind and fulfil our destiny. Many of you, I know, will insist on using Microsoft Word to process your text and create your eBook! If that's what you're used to, then that's what you should use but be aware that turning your Microsoft Word .doc file into a PDF involves you in using another piece of software. (Just Google for PDF Converters. There's some good free stuff out there!) Or you can pay for the ultimate PDF software: Adobe Acrobat professional, which will enable you to produce a fully featured and secured PDF eBook, though it is quite expensive.

BUT...

If you're prepared to put in an extra hour or two, to discover a brilliantly written and incredibly useful piece of software then go to http://www.openoffice.org/ and download the Open Office suite of software. The incredible thing about this fully featured suite of software applications is that it is absolutely free.
And in Office Writer, which is the Office equivalent of Microsoft Word, there is a magic little button at the top of the page on the toolbar that will turn your text document into a fully featured PDF file. You can even add security features. This free piece of software makes it so incredibly easy to create a PDF file eBook from your text that I recommend anyone interested in serious eBook publication to download a copy of it. It will make your eBook creation easier.

Use Arial as your text font. It's one of the easiest fonts to read on screen, readily available on both PCs and Macs, and bundled with most printer software. Your main text should be 12pt - 14pt in size. Smaller text should be in Verdana which was specially designed to be easily read online. Larger text can be in Georgia or Times New Roman.

Add Headers and Footers to your document for a more professional look. Put the Title of your Ebook into the Header and copyright information and page numbers into your footer. Use the INSERT Menu to do all this. You can find the Copyright © character under INSERT, then, SPECIAL CHARACTER

Make use of lists, both bulleted and numbered. This makes your information easy to absorb, and gives the reader a mental break from dissecting your paragraphs one after the other.
You can prevent your Ebook being copied or changed. Instead of clicking on the Red Adobe Acrobat icon on the tool bar to turn your document into a PDF... do this instead.

Click FILE on the top menu.
Click on EXPORT AS PDF.
Along the top menu of tabs find SECURITY on the far right.
Click on it.
Click in the second white box down where it says *Restrict Permissions*.

You can then enter a password so that only you will be able to make changes to or copy your Ebook. Finally, click on the EXPORT button to save your newly created, and secure, PDF Ebook.

So it's war!

EzineArticles says it has declared war on Internet Marketers... they say they're not going to accept 'derivative content' anymore.

Mmmm! Getting an article accepted by ezinearticles has always been a bit of a lottery... unless you stick to the bland and harmless formula. Oh well! Luckily there are plenty of other article directories... but I can't help thinking EA has shot itself in the foot!

We're being attacked on a different front by the US FDC... who say we must make it clear if links on our sites will result in us getting paid. Plus a load of stuff about 'typical results'... which is nonsense because what they're really talking about is averages, or means, or medians... and once you start talking statistics... I'm 100% sure there'll be a 458% percentage increase (in real terms) in the bull***t created by legal teams to create disclaimers that get round the FDC ruling!

The second thing to realize is that while the rules of the game may change, the fundamentals never do.
What does this mean?
It means that everything you learn in terms of marketing best practices, like: how to set up a website, how to capture and market to leads on your opt-in list, how to write great pre-sell and sales copy - will always be an essential part of your skill set.
And this also means you should ignore any hype you come across that claims certain long-standing, proven models are somehow 'dead' (eg, internet marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing).
When you see things like that, all it really means is that some of the tactics are in flux.
For example, there is some evidence that it’s getting harder to lure in subscribers using the 'free content' trick.
However, think about where this tactic might be losing its effectiveness. It’s mostly in the Internet marketing “how to” niche; not in the less saturated, non-marketing-related niches.
Further, even if “everyone” online suddenly became less responsive to these tactics, all that's necessary is a change in strategy.

A cautionary tale for you... and a helpful solution...

One of my Internet Businesses is a Quit Smoking Hypnotherapy System (which, if you want to stop smoking cigarettes, I highly recommend!) I get most of my customers from a Google Adwords campaign.

Recently I was shocked to have my Adwords account suspended because Google had found Malware on the salespage.

Now I pride myself on running an honest business and was horrified... I really thought Google must have got it wrong.

But... they were right! I immediately examined all the code on my internet pages and found that a piece of code I had never seen before was in place on every index page on every one of my internet sites.

I still don't know exactly what the malicious code was for or what it did... but I'm guessing it wasn't good!

So how could that code have got there? My sites are all password protected and my web-host is a well known reliable provider.(Highly Recommended:1 & 1)

The anwer was that a virus on my own computer had placed the code there, uploading it without my knowledge, when I connected. I don't know how the virus arrived on my computer... but I want to pass on to you the way to clean up your computer so you don't have problems like I did.

Ok... I already had the popular Norton anti-virus program installed, but I hadn't paid to keep receiving the updates. After all it's not cheap!

SpyBot: Search and Destroy is a completely free anti-virus program with, most importantly, a free update service. They ask for donations. (and once you've seen how good the program is you'll want to give them something!) I downloaded SpyBot and ran the scanner... it found and removed 2 Trojans and 5 viruses! I think one of the Trojans was responsible for my Malware Problem.

I lost 5 days of business while my account was suspended because I wasn't properly protected. So my top-tip to you.... download Spybot, like I did, and get yourself cleaned up!

You can quit that boring job

If you have a reasonable budget then PPC (pay per click) acvertising can be very effective... if it's done correctly! Start small and try everything before you commit large sums of money. The fastest way to LOSE money on the internet is to run an unsuccessful PPC campaign!
You can leave comments on relevant forums. You can start a blog or social networking page. Start an RSS newsfeed providing content for other websites or you can write articles and submit them to article directories. The important thing is to get your name and message, with a click-through link to your sales page in front of your target audience... potential customers interested in the subject area of your product.

4. You need to Start a Subscriber List

Get an autoresponder to collect your visitor's details. Just name and email. The two best known autoresponders are GetResponse and Aweber. Both provide the facility to create a 'pop-up box' that pops up and hovers over you sales page and requests your visitor's details. You will need to give your visitors a reason to give you their details... a free report or mini ebook or a periodic e-course delivered by autoresponder.

5. You need a payment processor.

How will you take your customer's money? If you're a Clickbank affiliate the payment processing is taken care of for you. Clickbank take the money and send you your commissions via regular cheque or direct bank deposit. Otherwise Paypal is the most popular and trusted standalone payment processor. Easy to set up and well respected for it's secure payment processing.You can easily create a payment button to place on your website... your customer clicks and is taken to the Paypal site to pay.

6. You actually have to DO this!

Take action! And keep taking action until you succeed!

Get Rick Quick? Myth or Madness

I have a dream. I wake up in the morning and start writing in the notebook I keep by my bed. I write and write. Out it flows! Everything that came to me in my night-time vision. I stop writing, wipe my brow and look over my work. The title is beautifully written in strong bold letters, and underlined:

GET RICH QUICK

My heart quickens because I know that here is the secret. The real secret to my life of ease and luxury. it's the moment I've been waiting for my whole life. This sudden revelation gives me the golden key to a wonderful new future.

I look further down the page, eager to learn just how the magic will work. There's the title "Get Rich Quick" Here's the first paragraph: "Get Rich Quick". And on the second line the same phrase. And on the third line, and all the way down the page. Then it dawns on me... I've woken up and written Get Rich Quick over and over again, hundreds of times. My magic secret formula to everlasting wealth and happiness is a nonsense!

I wonder how many of us have this dream. How many of us entrepreneurs and business people think, in the back of our minds, that one day we will wake up with that magic formula. One bright morning, after a divine visitation in the night, the mist will fall away and we will suddenly have the knowledge we need to make those millions, help mankind and fulfil our destiny. And I wonder too how much time and energy is wasted waiting for that mystical inspiration when really we need to be getting our hands dirty and working away.

And I realise that I have a choice: I can go back to sleep and hope that this time my Get Rich Quick Dream actually produces some amazing revelation... OR I can go back to my Get Rich Slow Plan. I can fire up the computer, connect to the internet, answer my emails, write some more web content, upload some auto-responder messages, work on my products and generally take care of business.

Yes! I'm still ready for the Get Rich Quick Dream to suddenly pay off. My note-book and pen are standing by at the side of my bed. And when that dream comes to me in all it's magnificent glory I'll let you know what the magic get rich quick formula is... Until then it's back to getting rich slowly and surely. The old fashioned way!
